Mitchell Cowan joined the 1st Choice Seeds team in 2021 as our Production Assistant. Mitchell’s workday changes from day to day, as he is involved in everything from treating and delivering to shipping and receiving seed. Mitchell’s experience in agriculture began at a young age, helping his father on the family farm. He was also involved in the Rushville FFA chapter during high school.

Mitchell lives in Rushville, IN where he was born and raised. In his spare time, he enjoys faming and collecting antique tractors, trucks, and engines. Mitchell is a volunteer firefighter for the Posey Township Volunteer Fire Department. He’s also involved in the New Salem Lion’s Club, the Eastern Indiana District Tractor Puller Association, and the Pioneer Engineers Cub.
